F.A.Q.'s

I’m scared I will lose customers by adding a convenience fee

Customers are already paying fees in many other businesses so this does not come as a surprise to them. Our merchants are no longer setting minimum credit card purchase requirements and are actually seeing an increase in sales. The feedback is consistent. For the first 30-60 days 5%-10% of customers ask a question about the fee and less than 1% of customers have turned down the sale due to the fee. Remember, when the customer pays cash the fee is waived. Our business owners have reported an increase in cash sales and profits across the board.

Other Businesses that charge Fees

  Paying a Parking Ticket online
Utilities such Electric, Gas & Water charge anywhere from $5 to $10 for using a credit card to pay your bill.
Cell phone & Cable bills are comprised of fees that no one understands.
ATM’s charge fees and then your Bank charges you a fee for using the another banks ATM (you pay twice)
Buying a movie ticket online cost an additional $5 for the convenience.
Using you card to buy gas costs an additional 2% per gallon
and many more.

4% seems like a lot

On many transactions the cost we pay to process the transaction can be more than 4%.

The 4% service fee covers:

All Transaction Costs (except EBT)

FREE terminal
Merchant online portal access
Fraud Protection
Processing Platform
Next Day Funding (see qualified businesses)
Chargeback Assistance
24/7 Local Customer Support

I already charge my customers extra for using credit/debit cards

Manually adding charges to customers using credit cards is forbidden. Visa, MasterCard, Discover & Amex are currently cracking down on this and if caught the merchant could face the following penalties:
TMF (Terminated Merchant File) & added to MATCH list which prevents them from ever accepting credit cards again
$50k fine from each provider (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover). We are an approved credit card acquirer.  Our Terminals are pre-programmed and authorized to add a convenience fee to each transaction to offset the cost of processing sales.

Is free credit card processing a real thing?

Free credit card processing is a real thing! This service has been out for a while and the Cash Discount program Is available in all 50 states. The 2010 Dodd-Frank Act (Durbin Amendment), business owners possess the right to pass through credit card surcharge fees up to 4% on credit card customers and sales (only through an approved acquirer, like us). This legislation change has provided us with the opportunity to offer Zero Charge, Zero Fees. Not all companies that offer this service have the same benefits that we do. We offer next-day funding, EBT transactions, FREE terminals, and 24/7 local customer service.

We prefer traditional credit card processing - Not interested in Zero Fee Processing

We completely understand that you are happy to pay the fees for your customers. As a courtesy, if you provide us with your most recent processing statement we will beat your current pricing and save you money. You always have the option to charge a convenience fee later on if you feel comfortable.
